A comfortable hoodie designed for everyday wear. The classic cut of the hoodie is complemented by a design created from an interesting combination of two camouflage patterns. The main pattern on the hoodie is 6-Colour Desert camouflage, complemented by Desert Night Camo on the top of the hood and on the ‘kangaroo’ pocket. The hood is adjustable in size thanks to a pair of drawstrings. The sleeves are finished with elasticated cuffs. The hoodie is made from 66% cotton and 34% polyester. Fabric weight: 300 g/m².
6-Colour Desert camouflage pattern:
6-Colour Desert, commonly nicknamed "chocolate chip", is a classic camouflage pattern developed by the US Army for desert operations. It was introduced in the early 1980s and was widely used during the Gulf War. The pattern features a light sandy background with broad light green and brown shapes and distinctive black and white spots designed to mimic rocks and their shadows – hence the association with "chocolate chip" – strikingly reminiscent of classic chocolate chip cookies.
Desert Night camouflage pattern:
The US Army used the Desert Night Camouflage (DNC) pattern during the Gulf War. It was designed to help conceal soldiers from enemy night-vision devices by creating stripes and patches that disrupted the wearer’s silhouette. As night-vision technology advanced, the DNC pattern was gradually phased out of use.
