TacticalPro backpack TACTICAL 75 L MULTICAM®

The Tactical 75 rucksack is the largest and most sophisticated rucksack in the TacticalPro range. It is often referred to as a backpack or expedition rucksack and features a sophisticated back system. The design of the back system allows for complete and seamless adjustment to suit any body type. The main compartment, with a capacity of over 75 litres, is complemented by two side pockets, each with a capacity of 10 litres. The total capacity of the rucksack is therefore more than 100 litres. Members of the 43rd Airborne Battalion in Chrudim and the Soldato Team test group were involved in the development of this rucksack.

Comfortable carrying is ensured by anatomically shaped, padded shoulder straps with a chest strap and a full-length hip belt, which can be easily detached. The shoulder straps are extended to ensure comfortable wear even when wearing protective ballistic vests. Naturally, 3D spacer mesh with an antibacterial finish is used on the back and shoulder straps for even better heat and moisture wicking.

The rucksack features a chimney-style design with three access points – from the top, bottom and front – and the option to divide the main compartment into an upper section (approx. 2/3 of the volume) and a lower section (approx. 1/3 of the volume). The top access point to the compartment is fitted with a chimney mechanism to increase or decrease the volume by approximately 10 litres. The access point is covered by a flap with two smaller pockets, which can be adjusted up or down as required. It is even possible to detach it completely and use it separately as a small bag with a capacity of approximately 5 litres.

The bottom access has been specially designed so that the base can be opened all the way round, creating the largest possible opening into the lower part of the rucksack. This will be appreciated by users who need to quickly pack various items into the bottom section, such as an unrolled sleeping bag. The front access allows you to reach items packed deep inside the rucksack without having to search needlessly or rummage through the whole rucksack. MOLLE webbing straps are sewn onto the inside of the front access flap, allowing smaller pouches for magazines or pockets for a torch, a telescopic baton, a grenade, first-aid kits, etc. to be attached. These attached pouches are very quick to access.

Inside the rucksack, there is a pocket with an elasticated band for carrying a radio or a laptop. At the top, there is a panel with MOLLE webbing for attaching additional pockets and accessories. Above the panel is a hydration bladder attachment point with a tube feed-through to the shoulder strap, where there are special clips for securing the tube. A Velcro loop is fitted to the strap for secure attachment of any hydration bladder. On the sides are two 10-litre pockets, attached via the MOLLE webbing. The pockets are fitted with a quick-release buckle for rapid opening of the lid and a retractable drawcord. The surface of the sides, front and lid of the rucksack features MOLLE webbing for attaching additional pockets and accessories; the hip belt also features MOLLE webbing. On the sides and front, there are two compression straps with a three-pronged buckle for reducing the backpack’s size if necessary, or conversely for securing larger items (e.g. a sleeping mat, groundsheet, telescopic poles). Additional straps are also found on the base of the backpack for securing a sleeping mat or sleeping bag.

To make it easier to carry the rucksack by hand, there are carrying handles on the sides, which also help when putting the rucksack on or when fording, when it is necessary to carry the rucksack above your head. Furthermore, at the top there are loops with metal rings designed for threading a rope through and securing rucksacks to the sides of infantry vehicles.

At the bottom of the front panel, there is a small pocket fitted with a mounting system for carrying a ballistic or protective helmet.

The rucksack also includes a rain cover, which is stowed in a pocket at the base of the rucksack.
