One of the most popular items of equipment in the Czech Army is camouflage clothing for adverse weather conditions, manufactured using GORE-TEX© technology, whose components are designated by the abbreviation ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System). Camouflage clothing made from this material is designed for extreme climatic conditions, protecting the wearer against water up to 8 atm, wind and dust. The material is breathable – it allows water vapour to escape from the wearer and retains dry heat, thus ensuring suitable climatic conditions inside the garment. All seams are sealed with welding tape, which ensures the necessary impermeability in places where the garment is sewn and quilted. The quality of the garment has been tested in all climate zones around the world. Although it is a product with a complicated manufacturing technology, minor damage to the special fabric can be repaired by the user using the repair kits provided. Given the price of the garment, it is useful to know about this option.

Sizes are marked according to Czech Armed Forces specifications. The first number is the height in centimetres, the second number indicates the waist circumference in centimetres for which the garment is intended
