2nd Infantry Division is Infantry Division U.S. Army, now operating in South Korea. Its mission is to detain a possible attack from North Korea until other American units arrived. The division has about 15,000 men, with about a thousand of them are Korean soldiers assigned to the division of the project Katyusha (Korean Augmentation To the United States Army - Korean rozšírenie U.S. Army). A large part of the division is stationed in Iraq.
