Sno-Seal® impregnation, based on beeswax, creates a solid wax film on the
leather surface after drying, ensuring water repellency and resistance to
soaking. Sno-Seal® protects leather from excessive drying and keeps it
flexible and strong even in the driest desert climates. During the tanning
process of outdoor leather, all natural animal fats are removed and
replaced with synthetic waterproofing. We can guarantee that Sno-Seal®
does not interfere with this waterproofing. Even footwear with a membrane
lining (Gore-TEX®, Sympatex®, etc.) performs better when treated with
Sno-Seal®. While the membrane blocks water from penetrating inside even if
the boot is untreated, water-soaked untreated leather prevents the boot
from breathing. Your feet then sweat and start to feel cold. Treating the
boot with Sno-Seal® means your feet will stay dry and warm.
Sno-Seal® waterproofs and conditions leather without excessive
softening
Protects leather and extends its lifespan
Does not affect the natural breathability of leather
Protects leather from dirt and the formation of salt stains
The surface layer of Sno-Seal® remains flexible and adherent even
below freezing
One treatment with Sno-Seal® is enough for 30 days of wear
Contains no silicone
Sno-Seal® is also suitable for footwear with a membrane lining
(Gore-Tex®)
Instructions for use:
Apply to clean, dry leather in an amount the leather can absorb. A
higher temperature (up to 50°C) makes application easier. Spread the cream
into a thin layer with a cloth. After drying, the surface can be polished
with a brush.
Note: Sno-Seal® darkens nubuck and suede and reduces their original matte
appearance.
