An LC-1-type canvas carrying belt from the ALICE system. You may also come across it referred to as a pistol belt or, colloquially, a ‘loop belt’, due to the characteristic metal loops running the entire length of the belt, which are used to attach it to carrying harnesses (treks). Equipment is attached to the belt using special ALICE clips. The belt can also be used in conjunction with tactical vests that have loops for threading the belt through.
