Excerpt from the manual – Operation
1. Place the compass on a flat surface and level it using the screws.
2. Turn the compass so that the needle points north.
3. Lift the sundial face and set the pointer according to the latitude.
4. To read the time, follow the shadow of the pointer on the dial. Important: Avoid moisture and magnetic fields, which can affect accuracy.
