The new version of the Bundeswehr battle knife with multifunctional application possibilities. As primary amendments to the previous models the cutting of bob wire and the sawing of wood respectively plastic were mentioned. The new model KM 4000 combines all these capabilities and still stays, above all, applicable as offensive or defensive weapon. For smashing window glass the KM 4000 features a striking element which pokes out of the handle end.
