The Modular System Sleeping Bag – Summer 2008 is designed for use in
normal temperatures down to approximately +3.4 °C and for short-term use
in cold climatic conditions at temperatures as low as around -10.0 °C.
The sleeping bag has a trapezoidal shape, being widest at the shoulders
and tapering slightly toward the bottom. It features a high-quality
two-way zipper on the left side. A zippered mosquito net is sewn into the
head section. In the shoulder area on the top side, there is a zippered
pocket. Inside the bag, around the shoulder area, there is a sewn-in
thermal collar. The bottom of the bag is rectangular, creating extra space
for the feet.
The inner lining at the bottom is made in a reflective orange color to
serve as an emergency signaling aid, while the upper part of the lining is
khaki-colored. The bottom panel is equipped with two anti-slip strips. The
thermal flap is stitched in a way to prevent the fabric from catching in
the zipper during use. The outer fabrics have a hydrophobic finish and are
resistant to surface wetting.
