The RESCUE knife is a spring-assisted, automatic knife manufactured by Mikov. One of the many advantages of the RESCUE knife is that it is based on the PREDATOR knife concept and can be quickly opened with one hand. The knife features a blade made of 420 stainless steel and a rescue blade also made of 420 steel, with a special edge designed for cutting non-standard materials (straps, rubber, thinner wires), as well as a cutting hook intended for the safe cutting of a vehicle seat belt. The RESCUE rescue knife is designed not only as a tool for professional use by Integrated Rescue System units, but also for everyday situations where one may find themselves in a difficult position (for example, in a car accident). The RESCUE knife has undergone demanding tests by both specialized and regular units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and was evaluated as excellent. The RESCUE knife is recommended as basic equipment for every rescuer and as a useful aid for emergency situations in civilian life. The robust construction of the RESCUE knife guarantees high durability, while handling is facilitated by the ergonomic shape and textured handle scales. The yellow color of the handle scales helps ensure easy visibility and quick location. The special blade provides high cutting performance on straps made of synthetic fibers (such as automobile seat belts), as well as other materials that need to be cut during rescue operations. The cutting hook extends the usability of the blade, for example by enabling the cutting of a copper wire. The rounded tip of the blade is an important safety feature when handling the knife. The RESCUE knife can also be manufactured on request in a left-handed version. The handle scales are made of yellow ABS plastic and have an ergonomic shape that fits perfectly in the hand.
