Cold Steel folding Knife Bushman
The Pocket Bushman knife was designed with one clear goal – to create a durable and reliable folding knife for camping and general outdoor tasks. A knife you can rely on for tough outdoor chores or emergency situations, yet compact enough to fit in your pocket or backpack. The 4116 stainless steel blade, heat-treated and cryogenically hardened, is exceptionally strong and retains a razor-sharp edge. It’s long, broad, and finished with a sharp clip-point tip for maximum practicality and versatility in the field.
The handle is made from a single piece of stainless steel, inspired by the construction of classic French Douk-Douk knives. It has no liners, scales, or spacers – instead, it is folded from one steel sheet to create space for the closed blade while providing the strength and rigidity needed for the unique Ram Safe Lock mechanism. Simplicity and functionality at an affordable price – the Pocket Bushman is a knife you can always count on!
The Ram Safe Lock, designed by custom knife maker Andrew Demko, works together with the knife’s one-piece handle construction. A solid steel bar moves back and forth under spring tension, and the spring pressure constantly pushes it forward. This motion ensures that the blade remains securely closed during carry and firmly locked during use. When opened, the angled “ram” engages between the blade’s tang and the steel frame, creating an exceptionally strong, self-adjusting lock that resists wear and keeps the blade perfectly secure.
