A compact EDC knife designed by cutler Mikkel Willumsen. The wide, blackened drop-point blade is made from Cryo D2 tool steel. Unlike standard D2, this steel variant is hardened using extremely low temperatures (down to -196 °C), resulting in a product with better edge retention and slightly higher toughness. Safety during use is ensured by the patented XR Lock, which is rated for a load of up to 680 kg. The lock’s operating mechanism is located at the front of the handle.
The knife features a curved handle, designed with a focus on ergonomics and comfort during use. The scales are made from G10, a fibreglass composite produced from glass fibres embedded in epoxy resin. G10 is characterised by exceptional strength and offers excellent grip even in extremely demanding conditions, such as underwater. Last but not least, G10 is a perfect electrical insulator and an excellent thermal insulator in both hot and cold conditions. A metal clip is, of course, included.
