Helikon-Tex® jacket YUKON WINTER DuraCanvas® ASH GREY
A sophisticated and insulated jacket suitable for very adverse conditions. The outer layer of the jacket is made from patented DuraCanvas® material, which can be waxed to improve its protection against light rain and snow. Inside, there is 67 g/m² Climashield® Apex insulation, which retains its thermal insulation properties even when wet. This combination of inner and outer layers provides warmth and protection down to -25°C.
All zips on the jacket are high-quality YKK zips, and the jacket fastens with a central two-way zip complemented by a press stud at the waist. The jacket also has mesh ventilation under the arms. The hood is easily adjustable with an elastic drawstring with a stopper, and the three-point adjustment allows it to fit any head perfectly. The jacket has a total of eight pockets for storing valuables and small items. The chest pockets have an internal organiser and are closed with zips. Under these pockets, you will find a pair of hand pockets lined with warm fleece. On the left shoulder, there is a large pocket with an external VELCRO panel for personalisation with patches. The remaining three pockets (two of which are mesh) are inside the jacket and are large enough to be accessible even when wearing gloves. Below the chest pockets are paracord loops for attaching a compass or other small items. At the ends of the sleeves are Velcro cuffs for individual adjustment. The waist can be tightened using elastic cords with stoppers to prevent unwanted wind penetration. On the sides of the jacket, you will find several MOLLE/PALS standard modular webbing slots.
