Ed Halligan, a member of the Knifemakers’ Guild, revolutionised the world of everyday carry knives with the unique two-piece construction of the original K.I.S.S.® (Keep. It. Super. Simple.) model. The shape of the K.I.S.S.® blade is inspired by the Tanto style. The blade has a chisel-shaped grind at the front and is flat at the rear, so that when the blade is slid into the handle/frame, the precise fit effectively ‘seals’ the cutting edge against the frame, even when it is exposed.
The K.I.S.S.® model features a stainless steel handle and blade with a brushed titanium nitride finish. This two-piece construction is durable, easy to sharpen and corrosion-resistant. The pocket clip can also be used, for example, as a clip for carrying banknotes.
