Compact EDC knife with a fixed blade, full tang construction and several carrying options. Made in the USA. More info
The most popular knife produced by ESEE, with a name derived from the Peruvian term "Isula" for the Paraponera clavata ant, whose sting is considered the most painful insect sting of all.
Izula is a lightweight and compact knife made from a single piece of 1095 carbon steel with a flat ground blade with a hardness of 55-57 HRC. It is protected against corrosion and unwanted glare by a matte powder coating. Unlike the standard version, the blade bears the signatures of ESEE founders Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin. The skeleton handle with a finger ring allows for cord wrapping, the attachment of additional scales (not included) or clipping onto a carabiner. The knife comes with a plastic self-locking sheath with a removable plate with a belt clip. The knife can be carried horizontally or vertically, turned for right- or left-handed use. Thanks to several holes in the sheath, it can also be attached to equipment using a carabiner or threaded through a cord for wearing around the neck.
