The Kotu knife from Gear Aid features a fixed blade and a sheath compatible with the MOLLE system. The sheath can be easily attached to gear, rucksacks, belts, etc. Its design allows the knife to be quickly drawn from the sheath.
The blade is made from 420 (5Cr15) stainless steel with a titanium coating. The knife is crafted from a single piece of stainless steel. The handle consists of durable plastic scales riveted to the steel blade. The blade is titanium-coated and measures 7.6 cm. The blade is tanto-style and features both a straight and a serrated edge. At the tip of the knife is a durable point for breaking toughened glass and a bottle opener.
The quick-release sheath with a removable belt clip can be easily attached to rucksacks, straps, boots and MOLLE-compatible PFD carrying systems. Use the paracord lanyard to tie the knife around your neck or wrist, so you have it quickly to hand when you need it.
Suitable as a versatile knife for survival, camping, fieldwork, hunting and fishing, as well as an EDC knife.
