A full-tang combat knife based on the design of the American original manufactured from 1897 to 1918. The original version of this knife dates back to 1917, with the inscription "US MOD 1917 CT" stamped on one side and "PLUMB STLOUIS 1918" stamped on the other. The solid blade with a smooth edge is made of high-carbon steel hardened to achieve high hardness and thus excellent edge retention. At the end of the blade, you will find a solid metal guard to protect against accidental injury. The handle has wooden screw-on scales and is finished with a relatively robust steel pommel.
The knife comes with a reproduction belt sheath made from a combination of burlap, leather and brass.
