Professional electronic tactical headphones combining active hearing protection, ambient sound amplification and the capability for radio communication. More info
The EARMOR M33 PRO are professional electronic tactical headphones combining active hearing protection, ambient sound amplification and radio communication capabilities. They are primarily designed for members of the armed forces and security services, shooting training and other activities where protection against excessive noise is essential whilst maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment.
The headphones provide noise attenuation of SNR 29 dB / NRR 23 dB and utilise an electronic ambient sound monitoring system. This allows the user to hear speech and other important sounds, whilst helping to reduce the impact of dangerously loud impulse noises. There are four listening modes available – Conversation, Observation, Patrolling and Ambient Earplug – which allow the sound output to be tailored to different situations and the user’s requirements.
The M33 PRO model supports dual-channel radio communication. When used with a compatible dual-channel PTT module, such as the EARMOR M56, the earplugs can be connected to two radio transmitters and communicate on two independent channels. Voice transmission is handled by a directional dynamic microphone, designed to ensure clear communication even in noisier environments. The electronics are also equipped with a system to shield against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference (EMI/RF).
For comfortable long-term wear, the headphones feature a ventilated headband, which helps to reduce sweating and enhances comfort when used with a tactical helmet. The low-profile ear cups are fitted with silicone and foam ear pads that mould to the area around the ears and help ensure an effective seal without unnecessary pressure.
The design meets the IPX7 protection rating and is intended for use in harsh weather conditions. Power is supplied by two AAA batteries, which provide approximately 60 hours of operating time. The headphones are fitted with a rigid communication cable featuring a U174 connector and a quick-release mechanism.
Note: To communicate with two radios simultaneously, a compatible dual-channel PTT module and appropriate radio connections are required. The headphones themselves do not support this function without additional accessories.
