A machete / sword whose shape is inspired by the Roman Gladius sword. The Gladius (the Latin name for sword) was actively used by the Roman legions for around 600 years and earned its fame on numerous battlefields across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This modern take on an ancient classic takes the tried-and-tested shape of its predecessor – with a double-edged blade and an aggressively tapering tip – and combines it with tough 420 stainless steel and an ergonomically shaped polypropylene handle. The machete comes with a matching fabric sheath featuring a loop for attaching it to a belt.
