The OWLSET 1x18 HD is a digital night vision device from Vector Optics. It is a high-quality, user-friendly night vision device suitable for airsoft, hunting or search and rescue operations.
For a clear and detailed image, this night vision device features 1x optical magnification, 3x digital zoom and Full HD resolution of 1920x1080. It has a built-in, switchable IR illuminator with a wavelength of 850 nm, which allows a figure to be detected at a distance of up to 200 m in complete darkness. The camera features a CMOS sensor, an electronic compass and the ability to capture photos and videos. The lens focus is adjustable from approximately 20 cm to infinity. The lens has a wide field of view for better visibility and a clearer overview of the situation. This night vision device features automatic white balance, display brightness control and the ability to switch between three image modes (black with white objects, white with black objects and green).
The device is very lightweight, weighing just 245 g including the battery, and is water-resistant thanks to its IP66 certification. Battery life is up to 5 hours (with the IR illuminator off) or up to 3 hours (with the IR illuminator on). It can withstand demanding field use thanks to its robust construction made from ABS plastic and rubber.
The night vision device comes with a mounting kit for installation on a helmet (OWNV-MT10). The kit is easily adjustable to fit both the helmet and the wearer using three levers for attachment, cushioning adjustment and securing the position between the helmet and the mounting system. It is compatible with standard NVG mounting plates on MICH/FAST/WENDY-type helmets.
