Polycarbonate piston with 14 steel teeth for the gearboxes of airsoft AEGs. More info
A polycarbonate piston with 14 steel teeth from Specna Arms. This is a reinforced internal piston for the gearbox of airsoft AEG guns. It features a lightweight and durable polycarbonate construction with an all-metal rack featuring 14 steel teeth. The omitted second tooth facilitates correct AOE adjustment and helps prevent the piston from jamming at higher rates of fire.
Steel teeth offer greater mechanical durability than plastic ones and are therefore suitable for long-term use in both standard and high-performance set-ups. The omitted second piston tooth provides more space for correct engagement with the sector wheel and facilitates AOE (Angle of Engagement) adjustment. With standard modifications, it is not necessary to shorten or grind down the second tooth, as is the case with some 15-tooth pistons. At the same time, it can help a correctly assembled gearbox reduce the risk of premature piston jamming at high rates of fire. The piston is primarily designed for V2/V3 AEG platforms and for platforms with a standard piston length, e.g. V6/V7 or M249. Suitable not only for Specna Arms weapons.
