It has a wide range of settings and programming options via PC (with the appropriate USB cable). You can change the transmitting power, save your own channels, regulate the noise gate sensitivity, set subchannels using CTCSS and DCS. Display backlight, battery status indicator and keyboard lock are standard. The battery and antenna are removable, the radio is equipped with a Kenwood 2-pin connector for connecting external devices.
