A top-of-the-range military down sleeping bag designed for use in extremely low temperatures. The Survival Down 1000 model from the Austrian company Carinthia utilises an advanced chamber construction and high-quality goose down, providing excellent thermal comfort even in harsh winter conditions. The ideal choice for military operations, expedition expeditions, mountain hiking and survival in freezing conditions.
Survival Down 1000 uses a special differential cut, in which the outer layer is longer than the inner layer. This allows the down insulation to achieve maximum volume and create a continuous insulating layer without unwanted compression. The result is greater thermal efficiency and better protection against the cold.
The H-chamber construction with vertical baffles distributes the filling evenly along the entire length of the sleeping bag and significantly reduces the formation of thermal bridges. This technology is one of the most effective solutions used in expedition-grade down sleeping bags.
