A glider manufactured by Schempp-Hirth in Germany with a wingspan of 15 metres. The Discus-2 is the successor to the highly successful Discus glider, which dominated standard glider competitions in the 1980s. Between 1985 and 1995, it won six World Gliding Championships in a row.
