The SHARK is a structurally simple tent that is quick and easy to pitch, designed to accommodate up to two people overnight, primarily from spring to autumn in normal weather conditions.
The structure is supported by two tensioned duralumin poles connected at two points, which tension and support the self-supporting inner tent.
The inner tent is designed so that, in suitable weather, it can be used on its own without the outer flysheet, providing an enclosed yet fully breathable and clean environment that is well protected against insects.
The inner tent has two opposite entrances, ensuring effective ventilation. The outer tent has a single entrance, which both users then share. When the outer tent is in use, opening the inner tent on the side opposite the entrance provides access to the storage space.
Humidity control in the SHARK tent is ensured by its good breathability and the large ventilation area of the inner tent, which allows water vapour to escape from inside. To protect against external moisture, it is fitted with a highly water-repellent outer tent with a silicone finish and a groundsheet rated at 5,000 mm water column.
The tent is packed in a drawstring carry bag with buckled straps, measuring 45.5 x 15 x 13 cm.
The pack contains 12 lightweight ‘Y’-shaped duralumin pegs and 4 reflective guy ropes with adjustable tensioners.
