After treating the leather with the oil, use another product (a balsam or military shoe polish) to give the material an additional wax layer of protection against the elements.
The shoe oil is not suitable for nap materials such as velour or nubuck, nor for footwear with membranes (Gore-Tex, Sympatex, etc.); light-colored and unfinished leathers may darken significantly.
Bottle with spray nozzle for easier application of the oil.
