Multipurpose tarpaulin for special units of the German Armed Forces BW, three-layer laminate.
The material is breathable, water-resistant and equipped with infrared protection according to TL 8305-0290. The tarpaulin has 12 or 16 fastening eyelets around the perimeter and 3 in the middle, made of sturdy fabric.
Tarpaulins, or bash, are suitable for building camouflaged bivouacs or observation posts, sealing shelters against rain from above, as simple protection against wind, rain and sun in the form of a sloping/pointed roof, sleeping bag cover or simply for covering and camouflaging equipment. The possibilities for use are virtually unlimited. The bash can be easily set up between trees/bushes using numerous attachment points, either with bungee cords (rubber bands with hooks) or ropes.
