TEEP RANGE are professional electronic hearing protectors designed for sporting and service shooting, marksmanship training and work in noisy environments. They combine effective hearing protection with an electronic ambient sound monitoring system, which allows you to stay aware of your surroundings and communicate comfortably without having to remove the earphones.
Four omnidirectional microphones, two on each ear cup, ensure precise capture of ambient sounds. Independent processing of the left and right audio channels helps maintain spatial awareness and determine the direction from which the sound is coming. There are five gain levels available, allowing the sensitivity of the ambient sound monitoring to be adjusted to current conditions.
The electronic system automatically limits the reproduction of loud sounds when a level of 82 ± 3 dB SPL is reached, with a response time of less than 10 ms. The ear cups themselves provide certified noise attenuation of SNR 27 dB in accordance with the EN 352 standard. For situations requiring a higher level of protection, a special mode is also available for simultaneous use with earplugs, whereby, according to the manufacturer, combined attenuation of up to 35 dB can be achieved.
Power is supplied by an integrated Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 1,350 mAh, offering at least 200 hours of active use or 600 hours in standby mode. Charging takes place via a USB-C connector and takes approximately 4 hours. Useful features include a voice alert for the battery status, automatic switch-off when not in use, and protection against self-discharge when switched off.
The headphones are designed for long-term use in demanding conditions. The low-profile ear cups minimise interference when firing long guns, and the design meets the IP67 protection rating, ensuring dust resistance and protection against temporary submersion in water. The operating temperature range of -20 to +60 °C allows for use in a wide range of climatic conditions.
TEEP RANGE ear defenders are developed and manufactured in the European Union. They comply with European legislation on personal protective equipment, and the manufacturer provides a three-year warranty.
