The compact, extremely durable SIDEWINDER III COMPACT (Military model) headlamp from STREAMLIGHT is certified to ANSI/PLATO FL1-2019 and MIL-STD-810H standards and is waterproof to IPX7. The torch is designed to be mounted on a helmet, belt or Picatinny rail, leaving your hands free whilst in use.

The SIDEWINDER COMPACT 3 (Military model) features four light sources:

• a white C4 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, shock resistance, an output of 275 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 113 metres
• and a red LED with a lifespan of 100,000 hours, impact resistance, an output of 6.5 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 13 metres
• and blue LED with a lifespan of 100,000 hours, impact resistance, an output of 2 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 7 metres
• IR LED with a lifespan of 100,000 hours, impact resistance and a light intensity of 50mW/sr (min)

The SIDEWINDER COMPACT 3 torch (Military model) offers:

• The torch is equipped with a swivel head with a 185-degree tilt range and a clip for a helmet, belt or equipment, allowing the direction of the light beam to be adjusted. The clip features a built-in hole for attaching a rope, which can withstand a load of up to 11 kg
• The casing, made from highly durable and exceptionally strong nylon, is characterised by exceptional durability and weather resistance
• A rotary knob allows you to choose from four lighting modes (W – white light, R – red light, B – blue light, IR – infrared light) and prevents accidental changes to the lighting mode
• The push-button switch turns the selected light source on and off, starting at low power and gradually increasing to maximum power in 4 separate steps
• Pressing the button twice activates the strobe mode of the selected light source at high output
• Thanks to a special ‘survival mode’, the torch emits light at low intensity for over 100 hours of continuous operation
• The torch has been tested for impact resistance from a height of 3 metres in various positions
• Waterproof to IPX7 standard to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes
• Complies with MIL-STD-810H, Method 512.6
• All openings on the torch are sealed with an O-ring. The LEDs are protected by shatterproof polycarbonate glass with a scratch-resistant coating
