A two-piece Gorka winter set from Invader Gear.
The Gorka by Invader Gear is inspired by the Russian military Gorka suit, which was designed based on the canvas mountaineering suits used by civilian explorers.
The set consists of a jacket and trousers and is made from a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. The suit is reversible; simply turn it inside out, fold the pockets, thread the buttons through the holes, and you can enjoy a different look.
This suit is designed to be worn over your gear and is made from a thick layer of fabric, making it durable and providing good thermal insulation in cold environments.
The jacket is designed to be worn over trousers and features an elasticated waist and hem for greater freedom of movement. The cuffs, waist and bottom hem of the suit are elasticated, which prevents wind from getting in and ensures comfort whilst wearing. The suit’s buttons are durable and can withstand prolonged, heavy use. Both the trousers and jacket have built-in slits in the pockets, allowing you to access the pockets of the clothing you’re wearing underneath the suit.
The jacket’s hood is spacious enough to allow you to wear a hat or headphones underneath. The hood can be adjusted using two drawstrings. It is fitted with ventilation openings to improve airflow. Loops for attaching leaves are positioned on the outside of the hood, allowing you to blend in better with the surrounding natural environment.
