An original Greek Army grenade pouch based on the tried-and-tested American M1956 (M56) system. This canvas pouch was designed to carry hand grenades, small items of kit or other essential equipment for a soldier in the field. Thanks to its robust construction, simple fastening and authentic military origin, it makes an interesting accessory for collectors, fans of military style and participants in historical re-enactments.
The pouch is made from durable cotton canvas in an olive green finish and is fitted with a metal fastening to ensure the contents are securely held in place. On the reverse side is a system for attaching it to a belt or similar equipment.
