MMPS - Multi Mission Pack System
This is a modular system developed by Berghaus that allows maximum backpack flexibility for different situations. The base consists of detachable side pockets that can be attached to a backpack as needed or worn separately when connected together as a small daypack. The pockets can be combined with any backpack with the MMPS system (note: they may not fit older Berghaus backpack models). By using two backpacks and the pockets, you can create a total of six different volume combinations. These side pockets are produced in two different sizes, as an organizer pocket or as a hydration bladder. The combination options are almost unlimited.
Berghaus
In 1966, a pair of English mountaineers founded a specialized outdoor equipment store called LD Mountain Centre. Over time, under the brand Berghaus (the German spelling of Mountain Centre), they began to design, test, and sell their own equipment based on the real needs of mountaineers. To this day, the brand belongs among the absolute top manufacturers of outdoor equipment.
For military enthusiasts, Berghaus is known as a major supplier of military backpacks. The first backpacks for the British Army were designed and delivered during the Falklands War, and today Berghaus backpacks can be found in the equipment of armies in other countries such as Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Norway.
Berghaus continuously innovates and develops new models, while always maintaining a simple and functional military design. Each product is first tested as a prototype by military units, and only after feedback from real-world use is incorporated does it go into mass production.
