MMPS – Multi Mission Pack System

This modular system was developed by Berghaus to provide maximum backpack versatility for a wide range of situations. Its key feature is a pair of detachable side pockets, which can be attached to the backpack as needed or joined together and carried separately as a small daypack. The pockets can be combined with any backpack featuring the MMPS system. Please note that they may not fit older Berghaus backpack models. Using two backpacks and the pockets, you can create a total of six different capacity combinations. These side pockets are available in two different sizes, as well as in organiser-pocket and hydration-bladder versions. The range of possible combinations is virtually unlimited.

Berghaus

In 1966, two English mountaineers founded LD Mountain Centre, a specialist outdoor equipment store. Over time, they began designing, testing, and selling their own equipment under the Berghaus brand—the German rendering of “Mountain Centre”—based on the real needs of mountaineers. To this day, the brand remains one of the world’s leading manufacturers of outdoor equipment.

Among military enthusiasts, Berghaus is known as a major supplier of military backpacks. The company designed and supplied its first backpacks to the British Army during the Falklands War. Today, Berghaus backpacks can also be found in the equipment of the armed forces of Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Norway.

Berghaus continually innovates and develops new models while maintaining a simple, practical military design. Every product is first tested as a prototype by military units. It enters series production only after feedback based on real-world experience has been incorporated.
