The Uvex Apache Spec P1E24 tactical glasses provide high eye protection against infrared radiation (OD4+) in accordance with EN 207.
The P1E24 filter is designed to protect against infrared radiation (IR lasers and certain visible lasers).
They feature clear polycarbonate lenses with a Uvex Supravision Excellence coating, which provides protection against fogging and scratches, as well as resistance to chemicals. The goggles offer good colour recognition and transmit approximately 12 per cent of daylight.
The temples are slim, allowing the goggles to be worn under a helmet or over ear protectors. The nose bridge is non-slip and made from a soft material.
The glasses comply with EN 166, EN 207 and STANAG 2920/4296 standards, which ensure their durability and protection against flying debris and impacts.
They are compatible with RX prescription inserts (not included).
The Uvex Apache Spec P1E24 safety glasses offer:
Technical specifications:
P1E24 protective filter, protection against infrared radiation (EN 207):
| Wavelength (nm) (extract): | 315–438 | 438–453 | 522–533 | 637–640 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Protection level: | DIRM LB4 | DIRM LB3 | DIRM LB4 | DIRM LB3 |
| Optical density (OD): | 4+ | 3+ | 4+ | 3+ |
OD – optical density, level of radiation attenuation
LB – protection against laser beams (visible / IR spectrum)
DIRM – the goggles have been tested and certified against multiple laser radiation modes simultaneously: (D) = continuous radiation, (I) = short pulses, (R) = repeated pulses, (M) = long pulses
