Life 2 Go, designed in Germany, sets a new standard in the market for portable straw-style water filters in terms of performance, durability and innovation.

Thanks to its sophisticated design and minimal weight, the Life 2 Go can be your constant companion in any situation. The body, made from BPA-free ABS plastic, offers high strength and chemical resistance for outdoor use and emergency situations.

The four-stage filtration system, comprising an optional stainless steel filter (in a separately available inlet tube), polypropylene, a Binchotan carbon filter and nano-aluminium fibres, virtually eliminates all harmful substances. Even the smallest particles and organisms are removed from the water.

The filter cartridge is replaceable and washable, making it reusable for up to 1,000 litres of clean, safe water. The PP pre-filter, located at the front and designed to filter out larger particles such as microplastics and suspended solids, should be cleaned and replaced regularly; it can also be removed from the cartridge separately. Of course, you can also easily clean the filter housing and other accessories if they become dirty.

The Binchotan charcoal used reduces algae, chlorine, chemicals, odours, humus, humic acids, drug residues and pesticides. The taste of the water improves dramatically.

Many cheap filters use a mechanical UF membrane – the pore size of the filter is usually between 0.2 µm and 0.01 µm, and therefore it only removes particles larger than 0.01 µm. The design of the Life 2 Go filter allows it to filter out even substances smaller than 0.01 µm from the water. This outstanding result is achieved thanks to aluminium fibres, which generate a positively charged electrostatic field.

This water filtration technology is not new. It is used in space exploration and in vehicles, and has been funded by NASA SBIR grants. It represented a complete revolution in water filtration technology, which remains unrivalled to this day.
