The 4-stage filter system, consisting of a stainless steel filter (in the intake hose from the separately available connecting hose set), polypropylene, Binchotan carbon filter, and nano-aluminum fiber, virtually eliminates any harmful substances. Here you can get our Basic Plus Life 2 Go straw water filter with everything you need to get started with safe drinking water production. In addition to the actual Life 2 Go water filter from Surao, which is already equipped with a filter cartridge, this set also includes the Life 2 Go water bag made of flexible silicone, which you can fill with 600 ml of water for on-the-go use. Also included are replacement polypropylene filter discs for filtering out coarse particles and a replacement filter cartridge for even more filtered water. Everything is safely packed in the robust maxi carrying bag, which also offers additional space for a replacement filter, water pump, and battery case, should you purchase these accessories later.

The filter cartridge itself is replaceable and—more importantly—washable, making it reusable for up to 1,000 liters of clean, clear water. You can also reorder it from our shop at any time if you need a replacement. The PP pre-filter, located at the front and filtering out larger particles such as microplastics and suspended matter from the water, should be cleaned and replaced regularly; it can also be removed separately from the cartridge. Of course, you can also easily clean the filter housing and the other accessories if they should get dirty.

The Binchotan carbon used reduces algae, chlorine, chemicals, odors, humus, humic acid, drug residues, and pesticides. The taste of the water improves dramatically. This is an aspect that is often underestimated and neglected in water filters.

Many inexpensive filters work mechanically with a UF membrane. The filter pore size is usually between 0.2 µm and 0.01 µm and thus only removes particles larger than 0.01 µm. The Life 2 Go's design enables it to filter substances smaller than 0.01 µm from the water. This excellent result is achieved thanks to the aluminum fiber, which generates a positive electrostatic charge field.

This water filtration technology is not new. It originates from space travel, is used in vehicles, and was funded by NASA's SBIR grants. It's an absolute revolution in water filtration technology, unrivaled to date. We're now making this technology accessible to the masses in our straw water filter.
