Replacement lenses for WX PEAK glasses SILVER FLASH

All lenses from the Wiley X brand feature the patented T-Shell™ coating. This coating prevents accidental damage to the lenses. When you choose Wiley X sunglasses, you not only get lenses made from top-quality material, but also a premium finish that ensures a long service life for your product.

All glasses from the Wiley X range come with lenses made from Selenite™ polycarbonate, whose structure consists of carbon and phenol atoms. These lenses offer up to ten times greater durability than standard glass lenses, whilst remaining lighter in weight. The reliability and, above all, the safety of the lenses are certified by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Despite their strength and weight, the lenses do not cause image distortion or reduce optical accuracy.

The safety standard ANSI Z87.1 sets a clear standard for eye protection when wearing sunglasses. This standard is defined by the American National Standards Institute. ANSI Z87.1 tests examine the mechanical resistance of the glasses and their protection against UV radiation according to very strict criteria.

Wiley X glasses that meet this standard are tested against the impact of a high-speed steel projectile with a diameter of 6.35 mm travelling at a speed of 164.6 km/h, and against the impact of a 500 g pointed cone dropped from a height of 127 cm.

Compliance with the standard EN.166S means that the glasses can withstand, without damage, an impact from a steel ball 22 mm in diameter and weighing 43 g, travelling at a speed of 18 km/h from a distance of 1.3 m. To pass the test, the lens must remain firmly in the frame and the frame itself must remain undamaged.
