WILEY X tactical sunglasses SABER ADVANCED set II 3 lenses BLACK frame

High-quality shooting glasses that are an absolute staple in the Wiley X range. They combine functionality with style and, thanks to their compliance with the MIL-PRF-32432 standard, will protect your eyesight in almost any situation.

The lenses are made from premium Selenite™ polycarbonate. This material does not shatter upon impact with a projectile and also features a T-SHELL™ coating to protect against unwanted scratches. Thanks to their width, the lenses do not restrict or distort your vision in any way. The frame is made from Triloid™ nylon, which ranks among the strongest non-metallic materials used in eyewear manufacturing. The temples are telescopic and can be replaced with the supplied elastic strap as required. The nose bridge can be easily adjusted to fit your nose. The glasses are compatible with night vision goggles (NVG).

Wiley X spectacle frames are made from Triloid™ nylon, which ranks amongst the strongest non-metallic materials used in spectacle manufacturing. Its key advantage is an incredible balance between durability and light weight. Thanks to their Triloid™ nylon construction and Selenite™ polycarbonate lenses, Wiley X glasses are among the very best in eye protection, not only for sports shooters but also for professional marksmen.

All Wiley X lenses feature the patented T-Shell™ coating. This coating prevents accidental damage to the lenses. When you choose Wiley X glasses, you get not only lenses made from top-quality material, but also a premium finish that ensures your product will last for a long time.

All Wiley X glasses come with lenses made from Selenite™ polycarbonate, whose structure consists of carbon and phenol atoms. These lenses offer up to ten times greater durability than standard glass lenses, whilst remaining lighter in weight. The reliability and, above all, the safety of the lenses are certified by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Despite their strength and weight, the lenses do not cause image distortion or reduce optical accuracy.

The ANSI Z87.1 safety standard sets a clear benchmark for eye protection when wearing sunglasses. This standard is defined by the American National Standards Institute. ANSI Z87.1 tests examine the mechanical resistance of the glasses and their protection against UV radiation according to very strict criteria.

Wiley X glasses that meet this standard are tested against the impact of a high-speed steel projectile with a diameter of 6.35 mm travelling at 164.6 km/h, and against the impact of a 500 g pointed cone dropped from a height of 127 cm.

A ballistic standard covering the Military Combat Eye Protection (MCEP) system. Compliance with this standard guarantees protection of the eyes against ballistic fragmentation, electromagnetic radiation and sand. Glasses meeting this standard must withstand impact from a .15 calibre projectile travelling at a speed of 702–724 km/h. Glasses meeting this standard are commonly used by most NATO armies.

Compliance with the EN.166F standard means that the glasses will withstand, without damage, an impact from a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, travelling at a speed of 162 km/h from a distance of 1.3 m. To pass the test, the lens must remain firmly seated in the frame and the frame itself must remain undamaged.

Smoked lenses

kourouve_cocky_wileyx

Versatile lenses with a light transmission of 12% to 14%, making them the perfect choice for very bright, even dazzling conditions. They are characterised by uniform absorption across the colour spectrum, thus preserving colour perception and, as an added bonus, eliminating unwanted glare. Particularly suitable for outdoor activities. 100% protection against UVA and UVB.

Clear lenses

cire_cocky_wileyx

Clear lenses transmit approximately 89 per cent of light, making them the ideal choice for less bright days and in conditions of poor visibility. They do not distort colours in any way, making them suitable for everyday work, cycling, hunting or shooting. 100 per cent protection against UVA and UVB.

Vermillion red lenses

vermillion_ruzove_cocky

Vermillion red lenses work best in medium to low light conditions. They superbly enhance and sharpen contrasts, make targets stand out more clearly and improve the perception of depth. They also block blue light (HEV). Suitable for prolonged wear. 100% protection against UVA and UVB.
