Uncompromising "sun" glasses designed for demanding users who require maximum eye protection. The glasses feature an unusual toric lens shape that mimics the natural shape of the eye and effectively blocks peripheral vision. The frame is lightweight so that the glasses are comfortable to wear all day long, while the non-slip rubber on the arms ensures maximum grip during dynamic movement. The glasses come with removable side shields that reliably protect your peripheral vision from wind, small dust particles, etc. The arms of the glasses are extended and partially equipped with anti-slip to maximise grip during dynamic situations.

The frame is made of durable Triloid™ nylon, which is one of the strongest non-metallic materials used in eyewear manufacturing. The lenses are made of premium Selenite™polycarbonate material. This material does not shatter upon impact and also features a T-SHELL™ coating that protects against unwanted scratches.

Thanks to their Triloid™ nylon construction and Selenite™ polycarbonate lenses, Wiley X glasses are among the very best in eye protection, not only for sports but also for professional shooters.

All Wiley X lenses feature a patented T-Shell™coating. This coating prevents unwanted damage to the lenses. When you choose Wiley X glasses, you not only get lenses made from top-quality materials, but also a premium finish that ensures the long life of your product.

All Wiley X glasses come with lenses made from Selenite™ polycarbonate, whose structure is composed of carbon and phenol atoms. These lenses offer up to ten times greater resistance than standard glass lenses, while remaining lighter in weight. The reliability and, above all, the safety of the lenses are certified by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Despite their strength and weight, the lenses do not distort the image or reduce optical accuracy.

The ANSI Z87.1 safety standard sets a clear standard for eye protection when wearing sunglasses. This standard is defined by the American National Standards Institute. ANSI Z87.1 tests examine the mechanical resistance of glasses and their protection against UV radiation according to very strict criteria.

Wiley X glasses, which boast this standard, are tested by impact with a high-speed steel projectile with a diameter of 6.35 mm at a speed of 164.6 km/h and impact with a 500 g pointed cone from a height of 127 cm.

A ballistic standard that covers the Military Combat Eye Protection (MCEP) system. Compliance with this standard guarantees protection of the eyes against ballistic fragmentation, electromagnetic radiation and sand. Glasses that meet this standard must withstand the impact of a .15 calibre projectile at a speed of 768-796 km/h. Glasses meeting this standard are commonly used by most NATO armies.

Orange lenses
